The Miss Klamath
County-Miss City of Sunshine Princess Program
is not a competition, but rather an opportunity to bring into our
organization a group of younger girls who will one day be part of our
Teen and Miss programs and to connect them with the exceptional
girls
and young women who participate in the pageant.

Princess Requirements
(Applications are being accepted for 2012)
- Girls ages 6 thru 10 years old
- Princess and at least one parent must be available to participate in all princess production practices, activities, fundraisers and events (TBD) including but not limited to MKC-MCOS Fashion Show-Luncheon-Silent Auction, candle fundraiser, etc.
- Princess must be outgoing enough to perform before a live audience.
- Parent must provide for the princess an ankle length party dress (color TBA), ruffled white socks and closed toe shoes.
- Parent must provide for princess all accessories to be worn with provided production outfit including but not limited to shoes, socks, bows, etc.
- Attend rehearsals during pageant week (TBA).
- Registration fee $75 non-refundable
- Age appropriate, digital photograph for program book.
- Submit copy of birth certificate.
- Must be age 6 by the date of the 2012 pageant and no older than 10 on the same date.
- Princess and at least one parent must be available to proceed to the Miss Oregon Pageant in Seaside, Oregon in June 24- July 1, 2012 should she be selected to serve as Klamath County's Princess or City of Sunshine's Princess (both are selected in a random drawing [you may opt out]). Registration fee is $250.
- Princess and at least one parent must be available to proceed to the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Pageant in Orlando, Florida in August 2012 should she be selected to serve as Oregon's Princess (selected in a random drawing). Registration fee is $650 (Paid by the Miss Oregon Pageant).
Every Princess Receives
- Official princess tiara
- Official princess t-shirt, sash or medal
- Basic production outfit
- Ice cream social crowning ceremony and autograph/photo session with contestants and titleholders
- One ticket for the 2012 pageant
- The opportunity to be selected Klamath County or City of Sunshine's princess and represent our community at the 2012 Miss Oregon Pageant
Princess Program Application Process
- Complete application and Statement of Understanding
- Mail the
printed and signed form along with $75 enrollment fee to:
The Women's Scholarship Foundation P.O. Box 99, Midland, OR 97634 - Registration fee must be made payable (check or money order) to the Women's Scholarship Foundation
- The Women's Scholarship Foundation reserves the right to refuse any application and registration fee in the event they are received at our offices after the participant allotment has been reached.
