Princesses
The Miss Klamath
County-Miss City of Sunshine Princess Program
is not a competition, but rather an opportunity to bring into
our organization a group of younger girls who will one day be
part of our
Teen and Miss programs and to connect them with
the exceptional girls and young women who participate in the pageant,
Every young woman
who participates in the
Miss America Organization becomes the best
she can be… a winner in life!
We want that for your child, too!
"These exceptional young women are role models who can make a
difference in your daughter’s life"

Requirements for Princess:
-
Girls who are 6 thru 10
years old
-
Princess at at least one
parent must be able to participate in
all princess production practices, fundraisers & events
(TBD) including but not limited to MKC-MCOS Fashion
Show-Silent Auction-Luncheon, etc.
-
Princess must be
outgoing enough to be in front of an audience
-
Princess must provide
and wear an Ankle length party dress and closed-toe shoes
during evening wear competition (color TBD)
-
Princess must provide accessories for provided production
outfit (including but not limited to shoes, socks, hair bows,
etc).

Attend rehearsals during
pageant week (TBD mandatory)
-
Enrollment fee $150
(non-refundable)
-
3 x 5 age appropriate
photo for program book
-
Submit copy of birth
certificate
-
Must be age 6 by April
18, 2009 and no older than age 10
by the same date
-
Princess and at least
one parent must be available to proceed to the Miss Oregon
Pageant in Seaside, Oregon in June 2009 should she be selected
to serve as Klamath County's Princess or City of Sunshine's
Princess ($250 enrollment fee paid by Princess family).

Princess and at least
one parent must be available to proceed to the National
Outstanding Teen Pageant in Orland, Florida in August 2009
should she be selected Oregon's Princess($650 enrollment fee
paid by Miss Oregon Program)
Every Princess Receives:

Princess Tiara

Official MKC-MCOS
Princess-Shirt, Sash or Medal

Certificate of
Participation
-
Basic production outfit
-
Crowning ceremony, ice Cream Social &
autograph/photo session with titleholders and contestants

One ticket for Miss pageant

The opportunity to be selected Klamath County's Princess or
City of Sunshine's Princess and represent our community at the
2009 Miss Oregon Scholarship Pageant.

To become a participant in

Program
we require the following steps:

Fill out the Application
Form and Statement of Understanding

Mail the printed forms
with the $150 registration fee to:
Women's Scholarship Foundation
P.O. Box 99, Midland, OR 97634

The registration fee
must be made payable
(via check or money order) to the
Women's Scholarship Foundation
-
The Women's Scholarship Foundation reserves the right to
refuse any application and registration fee in the event
an it is received in our office after the allotment has been
met.
